Aging up and Robbery - Do it as you Go

Sorry I took so long to update... again...
but I had university stuff to do and then it was so hot and ... well

But here you go, the next story from our Sims 3 Do it as you go challenge with our beloved Pop family.

You remember all the money we had last time? Before it got stolen?
well... I might have called a butler before we were broke again
Poor guy, has to deal with all our shit and won't even get payed :(

Meanwhile Can, our adopted son, tekes his first steps.

Small glance over to Adria, why are there so many children?!
I thought she hates children!
Wasn't that the reason she broke up with Vincent?
And now she keeps throwing one babe after the other... I don't have to understand her

Back to our family,
the next event we rolled was:
Robbery! (Use testingcheatsenabled cheat then shift+click the mailbox and one of the options should invite over a robber.)

...well... som much for our new kitchen stuff... bye stove

But our ever perceptive Evi,
has noticed the robber and called the Police

Our stove may be gone, but it has been avenged.

 And as long as our babysitter plays with our artificial plants all can't be that bad

... I am so sorry that she is doomed to wear ugly clothing for the rest of her life, but these are the rules






And our family father Vincent celebrates his daughters birthday... by visiting a house party of one of his aquaintences

father of he year award goes to...not the guy missing his daughters birthday to flirt with some barely dressed women

Don't worry Pudding, you got this. 3 little toddlers, 2 kids and a flooded kitchen. Nothing you can't handle.

oh...what? someone asked her out on a date?
I'd say you deserve a break, enjoy yourselve Pudding :D

He seems nice, I wonder if this will be her first boyfriend ^-^

An other day, an other party for Vincent... he must be very lonely to constantly try to get close to other women ..... 

.... at least he isn't missing an other birthday again and his girls are playing together

May I present to you: Door the adorable, teenager version

she likes to clean (a sentiment I can't understand) and yet leaves the bathroom a mess

Apparently she also is quite the golfer

But Eevi rather sticks too the arts
even though this painting ist kinda creepy...it smiles too much

Oh DAMN!!!  I forgot to roll for the next event... so... one day to late, next event starts and it is:
Get a job! Get a life! Get off my Sofa ya' bum! (Age up all your teenager's to young adult and kick them out.)
...okay Door just aged up and technically this should have happened before her birthday, so I  will only kick out Eevi and Pudding

...again they chose the same hairstyle when growing up
I think it is even the same they had when aging into teenagers

but I will change it.
I just thought about switching them to be the mains and maybe getting rid of Vincent, but now that we have to say goodbye, the least I can do is giving them a simple makeover

goodbye my girls, you were wonderful despite the hardships thrown into your way, I hope you will find a way to deal with this scary lifestage that is called "adult" and find good jobs or any other way to come by

BTW, this is our family tree by now

Hey Guys!

 I am back with my Sims and their ridiculous family lifes :D
they had a few sick days where half of them had to stay at home and rest.

Vincent had to do all the chores his daughters usually do but other than that pretty uneventful

 

He even had to take care of Puddings garden

So, everything normal and calm and peaceful, right? Wrong!

 next event: Tripple Adoption!!

Obviously not having a wife dosn't stop Vincent from wanting all the babies he can get.

I could have made this easy and adopt children... but Vincents Lifetime Whish is seeing 5 babies grow up so he would want to adopt little noisy babys... 3 at once... alright

I would have rolled if he gets boys or girls but since he already has 4 daughters I thought the reason to adopt kids and not make them himself would be that he wants to make sure to get some boys. so 3 little boys it is.

I wonder if he'll notice he was adopted when growing up... he fits in perfectly with these pale white breads *cough*

(guys, I think his biological family were in organised crime and got killed !)
He will probably go the crime carrier when adult...

last but not least : Can

no, not like trash can or you can do this. I like to use the Behind the Name name randomizer because I am terrible with names and the ones in game are too generic and repeating if I only use them so all my Sims get a name from there unless I have special naming plans for them and Can means apparently "soul, Life" in Turkish so that is his name now.

So, that are our new family members.

(I love being able to follow their stories with help of the Story progression mod notifications)

Ehm... It looks like Adria stumbled into some sort of cult...

three women in identical tops are standing in a circle around her... on the graveyard... at night... do I need to be worried?

Well, it is not as if we hav our own problems to worry about...

luckily I had used Adrias Lifetime points to buy a Magic Lamp before kicking her out and Eevie decided it would be a nice day to try it out.
Though I rolled "Period time? (Make one of your female sims act like the biggest jerk you have ever seen for 2-3 days.)" so Eevie was a bit grumpy and not really nice to our poor genie...

well, a wish is a wish and now we have no more worries about money :D
the building event was create "a beautiful yard with fun activities for the whole family!" so I used part of our now extensive pool of money to do just that. Pretty, isn't it?

Our adorable Door at least loves it ^-^

I also made the kitchen a bit prettier
nice warm earth tones, much better than the standart colors.

Too bad our wealth wasn't for long, because next a Stupid bank robber! (Use the family funds cheat to put your money at Zero. Now you've got nothing.) took everythin away from us... at least we still have our garden



At last: our boys grown into toddlers. You can't see it well but I gave Can his highliths.

Don Vito has the longest hairstyle I could find for boys.

Why no Updates?

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to give a short explenation why there are no new blog-posts.
Thin is... I didn't feel like it.
I am still playing this challenge from time to time and I have a lot of screenshots and notes but trying hard to present them in an entertaining way and receiving no feedback at all is a bit disheartening

A fresh Start - Do it as you Go

build nursery was btw my building roll...
I think it is a decent cute little nursery for what little money my Sims have.
Colours were rolled in game as I usually do.
too bad that it was all for nothing...

Let's jump back to the start of it.
Pudding was peacefully reading when she heard noise from outside.
Where her parents were loudly arguing.

Adria was angry because her husband kept wanting more babies despite them not having the money or space for it.
She never wanted kids, she hates kids, and all these "accidents" were becoming quite suspicious.

At last... she got the wish to divorce her husband... and I granted it her.

She left, leaving him alone with his 4 daughters

This must have been a big traumatising shock for Vincent

because the next Event that popped up for them was BIG move! (Move to a new town.)

Too many memories in this House

Just when I finished the new nursery -_-

Anyways Here we are, in the best abode we could afford (pretty shitty) in Sunset Valley

 A few emergency room additions had to be made, the actual renovation comes if we have the money for it... or a build event

 New Home, New Town, New Friends, New People, New Life. Eevi also wanted to start a New Hobby. She will still be painting, but the Music called to her.

I forgot how sunny Sunset Valley was. I chose it because it's been a long time since I played in the Valley.

 Speaking of sunny. Is this little Sunshine cute or is she cute?

Playing music out in the open is also a good way to make new friends for Eevi

Meanwhile Pudding wanted her own quiet new hobby so she is gardening now

Story Progression informed me that Adria has a new lover... she already moved on

Lara Croft is a Toddler now and she looks a lot like her mother. As rolled she got pink eyes and the ugliest clothes I could find

Door is also older now, and I think she is really pretty

Next Event: hot off the presses (gossip with 10 different Sims.)

Manageable with Eevi... even though it was exhausting

All in all they are much happier now that they no longer live in a murder house with their mother
